This heater is pretty good so far. I have a 2 car insulated garage including door. My wife sits outside quite a bit because she is a smoker. I Installed it 6 feet above her head and tilted it downwards. So in her chair she stays very warm. The heater will heat for about 10 min then heating element will shut off and the fan will blow the excess heat off before starting the element again. Power saving..So for her she is hot for 10 min and warm for 5. The garage would probably get to the temp you want in 1 hour and stay that way if you left it on. I could get my garage to 80 easy if i left it on for a few hours. Be aware you will need an electrician for this heater, unless your handy..cost me about 200 dollars. I have documented last months power bill and will post again when i get this months. It is probably on for a total of 1 hour a day.. 2 Hours on weekends. The pick a watt thing is kind of confusing. It comes at 5700w and if you want you can unplug an element inside the heater and use less power. If you are looking for some serious heat my brother just bought a propain type heater and he could heat his garage to 80 in 5 min and keep it 100 easily.
